The WP Open Community Collective (“The WPOCC”) is committed to maintaining high ethical standards, transparency, and integrity in all its operations. This Conflict of Interest Policy (“Policy”) is designed to ensure that all decisions made on behalf of The WPOCC are free from actual or perceived conflicts of interest and to protect the integrity of the organization’s mission.
The WPOCC is dedicated to fostering a culture of openness, fairness, and trust. Adherence to this Policy is essential to maintaining the integrity and credibility of our work and our shared commitment to the WordPress open source project.

This Policy applies to all individuals who participate as decision-makers within The WPOCC community, including but not limited to board members, staff, contractors, contributors, members, and volunteers (“Covered Individuals”).
हितों के टकराव की परिभाषा
A conflict of interest exists when a Covered Individual’s personal, professional, financial, or other interests could interfere with their ability to make impartial decisions in the best interest of The WPOCC and its members. Conflicts of interest may arise directly or indirectly and include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Interests: A financial benefit received by the individual or their immediate family from a decision or transaction involving The WPOCC.

हितों के टकराव का खुलासा

- Disclosure: Disclose any actual, perceived, or potential conflicts of interest to hTe WPOCC Board of Directors prior to engaging in the activity where there may be a conflict.

हितों के टकराव का प्रबंधन
Upon disclosure of a potential conflict of Interest, The WPOCC will take the following steps:
- मूल्यांकन : बोर्ड या नामित समिति हितों के संभावित टकराव के खुलासे का मूल्यांकन करेगी और यह निर्धारित करेगी कि क्या यह हितों का वास्तविक या कथित टकराव है।
- संकल्प : निर्णय होने पर, बोर्ड या नामित समिति निम्नलिखित कार्रवाई करेगी:
- हितों का वास्तविक टकराव : यदि हितों का वास्तविक टकराव पाया जाता है, तो बोर्ड या नामित समिति संबंधित व्यक्ति और समुदाय को सूचित करेगी और उनसे संबंधित चर्चाओं, निर्णयों या संगठनात्मक गतिविधियों में भाग लेने से स्वयं को अलग रखने का अनुरोध करेगी। कुछ मामलों में, बोर्ड यह निर्धारित कर सकता है कि टकराव को हल करने के लिए अतिरिक्त कार्रवाई आवश्यक है, जैसे कि अधिकार सौंपना या भूमिकाओं में संशोधन करना।

- हितों का टकराव नहीं : यदि हितों का कोई टकराव नहीं पाया जाता है, तो बोर्ड या नामित समिति संबंधित व्यक्ति को सूचित करेगी और संगठन के अभिलेखों में इस निर्णय को दर्ज करेगी।
- दस्तावेजीकरण : सभी संभावित विवादों, निर्णयों और उसके बाद की गई कार्रवाइयों को संगठन के अभिलेखों में प्रलेखित किया जाएगा।
निषिद्ध कार्य
इस योजना के अंतर्गत आने वाले व्यक्तियों को निम्नलिखित कार्य नहीं करने चाहिए:
- Use The WPOCC Resources: Use The WPOCC’s funds, resources, or reputation for direct personal gain.
- गुप्त संबंधों में शामिल होना : ऐसे संगठनों, व्यक्तियों या संस्थाओं से जुड़े निर्णयों में भाग लेना जिनके साथ उनके गुप्त संबंध हैं और जो विवाद उत्पन्न कर सकते हैं।
जवाबदेही और प्रवर्तन
Any Covered Individual found to have knowingly violated this Policy may be subject to corrective action, up to and including removal from their role or termination of their relationship with The WPOCC. All enforcement actions will be documented.
चिंताओं की रिपोर्ट करना
Members of The WPOCC community may report suspected conflicts of interest or violations of this Policy to The WPOCC Board. Reports may be submitted via the Code of Conduct reporting form.
नीति समीक्षा
This Policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary by The WPOCC Board to ensure it remains effective and aligned with the organization’s mission and values. Modifications and updates will be documented.
